John F. Kennedy, A Life

Ah, Camelot, a time before the United States got mired in Vietnam and everything went to hell in a hand basket, as some people see it.  With so much Kennedy propaganda already saturating the market, the Editors of New Word City decided they too would try to make a buck.

While it reads well and is a great primer for people wanting a cursory intro to Kennedy's life, this is a redacted and glossy Wikipedia blurb.  No salacious tales to be found here. Or real information for that matter.  Interested in the President's moral misgivings, look not.  Want to believe he was human and had faults?  Well, you are just SOL (with the exceptions of some mafia ties).  You see, Bay of Pigs was not his fault and he turned off those fire hoses in Birmingham all by himself.

Save your $2.99 and read the Wikipedia entry.  For though he may have been a good man, I don't think he would even paint as rosy a picture.
